As with many traditional conservatories, this one was difficult to keep at a comfortable temperature. This can be managable if you don’t need to use it all year round, but this lean-to conservatory roof covered the kitchen, too!
An insulating, energy efficient roof was needed, and our tiled warm roof fitted the bill perfectly!
Our installers arrived on site for 8 am to commence works. We always start by covering and protecting the working area. We then move on to removing the existing conservatory roof as well as the old windows and doors.
We were able to retain the original windows and doors. The customer also opted for 4 x LED downlights in the new ceiling.
Time for the roof to go on! Our installers complete the internal and external works, including new guttering and rainwater pipes. The inside is now ready for plastering.
The new ceiling is then plastered and a final clean-down is then carried out before completion.
What a transformation! This lean to conservatory is now a usable kitchen and living room extension. It is so light and bright, despite their being no celing lights or roof windows.
Our customer is now able to enjoy the extra living space all hear rounf and their kitchen is now a comfortable and enjoyable space to be.
Our customers are given a choice of tile colour and style as well as a choice of optional extras. The Jones’ went with a Tapco Grey tile, which complements the property really well.
We plastered the new ceiling to give it that real extension-like feel.
Our customers decided to go with four LED downlights to finish the look.
We work with a number of talented trades people so we can get everything done as part of the project, meaning when we pack up and go, your room is ready to use.
