This conservatory in Bury st Edmunds had a polycarbonate roof that was in need of replacement. It made the conservatory very difficult to keep warm, so the space was often left unused during colder months, despite being a good size and looking out onto a lovely garden.

Insulate the roof and plasterboard internal structure.
This build was completed in 6 days and as you can see it’s quite a transformation! The room now feels like a modern extension and hasn’t lost it’s great garden views. The glazed panels in the roof allow for plenty of light to stream through but without the glare associated with fully glazed roofs. And the best thing? The space is now much more thermally efficient, meaning the room can be used all year round.
