Our findings

This conservatory was built with a glass roof that had over the years been worked down by bad weather. During the summer months, hot weather would create a pressure that the house owners were unable to regulate. The cold, often rainy winter months made the conservatory cold and noisy.

Steps we laid out

Day 1
Remove the old roof and make conservatory watertight.
Day 2
Commence tiling and lead work including electricals.
Day 3
Insulate the roof and plasterboard internal structure.
Day 4
Complete electrical and plaster for final painting works.

Project End

Project completion

Our finished build was completed in just 6 days from start (the delivery of all materials) to finish. The fully insulated Guardian Warm Roof provided both the conservatory and kitchen with a balanced temperature, preventing the main conservatory and adjoined rooms from becoming too cold in the winter, and avoiding the uncomfortable heat in summer.
