Our findings

Our homeowners goal with this project was to update the look and feel of their home and allow light to flow through the living space as much as possible. Their traditional timber doors were in need of updating and were starting to look tired and unappealing.

Our internal door installation process

Step 1
Our installers arrive on site for 8am to commence the work. Step one is always to cover and protect the working area so nothing is damaged during the installation process. One this has been done we remove the existing doors, being careful not to damage any internal walls.
Step 2
We install the new internal doors. By installing fully glazed internal doors, not only do these act as an acoustic barrier but also allow more natural light to flow into the room than a solid panel door.
Step 3
A check over of the door is complete and the customer is shown how to operate the door. Tidy up and remove the existing door from the site. We then caulk the door rather than using a sealant for a softer finish.

Project completion

This one day installation of multiple aluminium glazed doors has created such a beautiful look in the customer’s home. Mr and Mrs Stone chose gorgeous art deco brushed gold handles to set off the art deco inspired design and we think it looks incredible.
