Our findings

This conservatory had an old polycarbonate roof, which was extremely sensitive to all sorts of weather noise and wasn’t effective at insulating from warm or cold temperatures. In removing the old roof and replacing it with a warm roof, the room will be properly insulated without risk of condensation, giving the homeowners a comfortable lounge area to enjoy throughout the year.

Project Plan

Our external door installation process

Step 1
Remove the old roof and make conservatory watertight.
Step 2
Commence tiling and lead work including electricals.
Step 3
Insulate the roof and plasterboard internal structure.
Step 4
Complete electrical and plaster for final painting works.

Project End

Project completion

This build was completed in 6 days from start (the delivery of all materials) to finish. The Guardian Warm Roof provides the conservatory with high performance insulation meaning a constant, comfortable temperature and eliminating intrusive weather noise from the roof. The roof and internal finishing gives Malcolm and Diane the cosy, lounge space they wanted, from which they can enjoy the garden all year round.
