This beautiful heritage property was in need of renovation, but it was important to respect the history and original design of the windows and doors. The existing timber windows were draughty and were starting to split and rot. The mission here was to replace them with a modern material but retain the look of the original windows. uPVC Flush Casement windows fitted the bill perfectly, paired with composite doors and uPVC french doors in colours to perfectly match the windows.
Our installers arrived on site for 8am to commence works. We always start by covering and protecting the working area and then move onto removing the existing conservatory roof. By the end of day 1, half of the new windows had been installed.
The remaining windows are installed and then it’s onto the doors. We start with the French doors then move onto the utility, lastly the Composite front door.
This window and door installation was completed in 4 days. The property has kept it’s heritage feel but is now safe, secure and is no longer losing heat from the windows and doors. The agate grey colour theme throughout the external frames and doors look fantastic, and the heritage style monkey tale handles on the inside are a nod to the originals.
